About the Project

What is the project about?

Forenxy is a fintech platform designed to help users bank without the high fees—empowering them to send, spend, pay bills, and manage personal finance the way they want.

With features like multiple payment options, a unified wallet, spend cards, and seamless peer-to-peer transfers, Forenxy brings transparency and control to everyday financial management.

Who did I collaborate with?

As the founding designer for Forenxy, I was responsible for defining the concept, iterating, and conducting testing to identify potential product-market fit for the app.

I collaborated closely with the Forenxy founding team—product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders. Together, we defined the core experience of the platform, ensuring that design aligned with both business goals (increasing adoption and trust) and user needs (simplicity, clarity, and financial empowerment).

Scope of responsibilities

In my role on the Forenxy project, I was responsible for a wide range of design-related tasks, including branding and product design (Web and Mobile app). Additionally, I play a key role in business development, strategy, and partnerships, which are essential to the success of the project.

THE CHALLENGE

The primary challenges that I faced

A few challenges we faced during the project included:

  • Designing a fintech experience that felt simple and trustworthy, despite the complexity of integrating multiple payment sources .
  • Creating a unified wallet dashboard that gives users a clear overview of all their accounts without overwhelming them with information.
  • Ensuring real-time transaction tracking and notifications were reliable, accurate, and non-intrusive.
  • Designing a spend card feature that allowed users to allocate funds to family members while maintaining full visibility and control over spending.
  • Building an interface that complied with accessibility standards and could scale to support diverse user needs across different devices.
